Vine Linux 5 が 出ました
Vine Linux 5 リリースノート を確認してみると
x86_64 (64bit) バージョン に対応しているではないですか
VMware ESXi に x86_64 (64bit) の Vine Linux 5 に
インストールしてみると以下のメッセージが表示しました
This kernel requires an x86-64 CPU, but only detected an i686 CPU.
Unable to boot - please use a kernel appropriate for your CPU
どうも、CPU が 64bit に対応していないみたいです
でも、CPU は Intel Core 2 Duo U7600 なので、64bit に
対応してたはずなのに・・・
MP965-D の BIOS の Virtualization Technology を 有効 にする事で
x86_64 (64bit) バージョン をインストールする事が出来るようになりました
